Thanksgiving 2009

Happy Thanksgiving! We wish we had more family to feed but we had to settle for just Mom, Dad, and Lindy and a lot of food. We started with Lindy's Hot Artichoke Dip for our appetizer and it was yummy! She is going to make it again for Christmas.

















One of our experiments for the day was Butternut Squash Ravioli with Pecan-Cranberry Brown Butter Sauce. Lindy and I made the Ravioli by hand and we all thought it was really a nice compliment to the meal - even Dad liked it!













All of the food turned out great with nice moist Turkey!










When we find some room Lindy and I are going to try our Upside-down Apple Pie. Hope it's as good as it looks. I am exhausted and very full.

Lindy's Birthday/Donkeyland

It was a busy week with Lindy and Greg coming over on Thursday to celebrate Lindy turning 24, and then the highly anticipated Idaho vs. BSU game on Saturday!! We started game day bright and early with a champagne breakfast at Jami's apartment near the stadium.

Josh and I scored tickets to the game, at the top of the staduim in the middle of all BSU fans! We left before halftime because it just was too hard to watch and very cold with the wind chill way up there! Here is a picture of the ugly smurf turf, its even uglier in person!

After the tailgating we went to "Mac and Charlies", a Vandal owned bar.

I thought the one with Josh in bed is funny because usually its me that lays in bed with the cat reading but lately Josh has been stealing my spot, he is reading Dan Brown's new one right now. Vandals Go 6-1!!!

Last weekend Josh and I met up with a bunch of old Delt's, their wives and girlfriends, and some of my friends in Moscow to watch the Vandals go 6-1!! After beating Hawaii and becoming Bowl eligible for the first time since '98!! we hit up the Corner Club pretty hard - yes I am still on a first name basis with the bartender. It was a great weekend but I will never stay at the Royal Motor Inn ever again.... yuck! Horizon Airlines and the University Inn here we come!
