Vandals win again against Northern Illinois 34-31!!! Crazy. When is the last time they have been 3-1. It is great they have beat teams from other conferences, too. Should be a great game against Colorado State next week. Greg will be there sitting with the Prez!

Fall in McCall

Kelsey and I decided to enjoy a "Stay and Play Fall Package" at the Shore Lodge in McCall. We were excited to play golf at Whitetail and it turned out to be everything we hoped for. It was so beautiful and serene - the golf was great, too. Unfortunately, the camera's battery died and we couldn't take any pictures. We were really bummed that we couldn't get a picture of Kelsey after her Eagle on the 4th hole!
Anyway, after golf we enjoyed our lakefront room at the Shore Lodge. The weather was amazing (80's) for the end of September.

On Friday morning we roamed around McCall. Despite the demise of Tamarack things in McCall were looking great and seemed pretty busy for Fall. We enjoyed breakfast at the new Fogglifter Cafe. It used to be Kelsey's dentist's office when she lived in McCall. Very yummy.

Thought we would close with a little Fall color! Something I won't see in AZ. The trees were changing and the forecast is for cold weather next week...winter and skiing are just around the corner!

Can't wait for our Christmas stay! We are crossing our fingers that skiing will still happen at Tamarack.

Great day for Vandal fans as UI beat SDSU 34-20 in Moscow! Always nice to win your home opener especially in the refurbished Kibbie Dome debut!

Southfork Boise River Rafting

Finally after many tries I got these pictures to post! This was our fun raft and camp trip on the Southfork of the Boise River, it ends with Josh passed out in his chair! It was a beautiful spot we found to camp in and it was lots of fun!

Gorge...ous

On our visit to the 'Couve Jerry and Kathy took Lindy and I on a hike in the Gorge on the Oregon side. It was a lot of fun. Horse Tail Falls as seen above was at the head of the trail.

Football Season!

The first time the Idaho has won their season opener in ten years!!! Go Vandals! By the way, Bobby Cowan's first collegiate punt for the Vandals was 52 yards.

Skamania

I ventured off to Stevenson, Washington for golf and lunch at Skamania Lodge with my golf buddies. The golf pretty much came down to who could lose the least amount of balls. The best part was the weather and the great views looking across to the Oregon side of the Gorge - always on my list of favorite places!
