Had a great time in St Louis celebrating my friend Tony's last days as a single guy. We saw a Cardinal's game and had shirts made with our nicknames on the back. Jerry I know you are a Coors Light fan but we took a tour of the first ever Budweiser plant and sampled the beer. And of course we saw the arch, "Gateway to the West".

Round 2 Complete

Well round 2 is over! It was a fun weekend with Lindy in town for Graduation. Lots of celebrating, at the Corner Club of course. It is weird to be leaving Moscow, but hopefully soon I will get position and it will be all worth while! Lindy has some pics from the festivities so maybe she will finally make her first blog post and put them up :)

Boise Tourists
Kelsey and I played tourist in Boise with a visit to the Botanical Garden and the Old State Prison.
Spring is slowly coming to the garden. It was still a great place for a walk and some pics!
Mom and Sacajawea
We were lucky to have a volunteer guide give us a personal tour (probably because we are so cute). We saw a lot of grim things like this early cell that Kelsey is posing in. We also saw the "hanging room" with it's drop floor. Scary!

The prison also had a lot of old rose bushes along all the walk ways that will be blooming in June. Interesting contrast to the prison.

Merida Reunion
Back from the family reunion! Dad and I hit most of the TX/OK food groups while we were there... fried catfish, chicken fried steak, fried chicken, etc. Hard to do in less than 48 hours! Tasty stuff but it may take my salmon happy digestive system a few days to recover. We had a great time seeing everyone. I have tried to put up some pictures of people Kelsey and Lindy will remember. Greg can get an idea of where Lindy gets the "skinny gene".
