Kern's New Years at Tamarack

Josh and I went to Tamarack for New Year's Eve to stay at a chalet with some friends. Here is a picture of my girlfriends waiting for the torch parade at the bottom of "Bliss", all the couples and the boys hanging out at the chalet. We had an Around the World night, each couple different cocktail, Jayme and Tony brought homemade moonshine of course! :)

I have been waiting for a night with a good sunset to see how my new camera would do. First you need some clouds to have a great sunset! I think this came out pretty well. I used the "sunset Mode" feature.

It is a yucky rainy day here in the desert but we thought this sunset was kind of interesting. Abig red setting sun managed to break through the clouds and is setting behind Whisper Rock.
